Dr. Maryam Yazdi’s passion for dentistry stems from her desire to impact her patients’ lives positively. She believes that a healthy smile enhances one’s appearance and boosts confidence and overall well-being. Dr. Yazdi is dedicated to providing compassionate care and empowering her patients with knowledge about their oral health.
Education
A native of Toronto, Dr. Yazdi completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree at York University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours from the University of Toronto. During her dental training, she treated a wide range of cases, gaining experience in various settings, including hospital-based care, and providing services to patients of all ages.

Dr. Yazdi enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic, restorative, endodontics, orthodontics, surgical procedures, and pediatric dentistry. She is committed to lifelong learning and has pursued advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, nitrous oxide conscious sedation, Invisalign clear aligners, and crown procedures. Dr. Yazdi emphasizes comprehensive, research-based care in a friendly and safe environment, prioritizing patient education and using the latest techniques to ensure optimal outcomes.
Fluent in both English and Farsi, Dr. Yazdi is dedicated to her practice and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She has a passion for cooking and travelling, which allows her to explore new cultures and cuisines. Dr. Yazdi looks forward to creating lasting relationships with her patients and providing exceptional dental care.

Just got home from the Smile Centre and I'm thrilled with my results. Had Zoom whitening, and it was better than I expected. The attendant took the time to explain everything super thoroughly. She warned I may have sensitivity but so far so good. I wish I did it ages ago.
The first thing I noticed upon entering the building was the beautiful design plan and lovely staff. I was greeted at the door and made comfortable throughout my entire experience. Everything was explained to me in detail and the staff always made sure I fully understood. This is an amazing office and I would 10/10 recommend it!!

Every time I go to the Smile Centre in Barrie it’s an amazing experience! Everyone from the admin staff to the dentists are so helpful. Not only do they tell you your options (in my case options for a missing tooth), but they also explain the pros and cons of every option. I highly recommend the Smile Centre
